Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus originates from Australia where it has been used for hundreds of years for its profound influence on bronchodilation and opening the respiratory passages when inhaled aromatically.  It has shown to be highly anti-inflammatory and is used in many vapor rubs and muscle balms on the market currently.  Eucalyptus gets its’ signature fragrance from the active terpene Eucalyptol, complimented by tannins and other flavonoids.

Fragrance

Eucalyptus Essential Oil’s Fragrance is camphoraceous and penetrating, clarifying and relaxing with nuances of Rosemary.

Copaiba

Copaiba (Copal) is a fragrant oleoresin producing tree native to Peru and Ecuador.  It can be regarded as “The Frankincense of South America”.  It was incensed by the Aztecs and Mayans in cleansing rituals, as well as utilized as a dental amalgam, glue, and varnish.  It is traditionally burned on lit branches of Palo Santo to disperse the resin aromatically, but with essential oil it is much easier to utilize in a diffuser. Copaiba is a powerhouse of terpenes with over 60 identifiable volatile compounds.  It is highly concentrated in Beta-Caryophyllene as well as Alpha-Bergamotene, Alpha-Humulene, and Beta-Bisabolene.

Fragrance

Copaiba Essential Oil’s Fragrance is uplifting and camphoraceous, with subtle nuances of licorice and mint.

Wintergreen

Wintergreen Essential Oil is derived from the berries of a tree native to colder portions of North America.  It is an interesting extract because winterberries by themselves do not retain the winter-fresh mentholated spirit of wintergreen essential oil, until they are placed in warm water and certain native enzymes in the plant produce its aroma in the form of Methyl Salicylate.  It has been used traditionally externally for its potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Fragrance

Wintergreen Essential Oil’s fragrance is spicy and comforting with nostalgic woody undertones

Directions for Use

Bath & Shower: Add 5-10 drops to hot bath water, or sprinkle into a steamy shower before entering to promote deeper and fuller breathing.

Massage: 8-10 drops of essential oil per 1 ounce of carrier oil. Apply a small amount directly to desired areas, such as your muscles and joints. Work the oil gently into the skin until it is fully absorbed.

Inhalation: Inhale the aromatic vapors directly from the bottle, or place a few drops in a burner or diffuser to fill a room with its spicy and purifying ambience.

Home Brewed Perfumery: These Essential Oils can be used in your homemade products, such as candles, soaps, and body care products.
