Geranium

Geranium is gigantic genus of flower plants native to sub-tropical Africa that has long been revered for its sweet and fragrant scent, as well as its anti-bacterial and bug-repelling capabilities.  It is a precious flower that is often mixed with rose to enhance its’ aroma.  Its’ primary active terpene sculpting its’ fragrance is called Geraniol, which is used in everything from food, to perfumes, and bug repellants.

Geranium Essential Oil’s Fragrance is sweetly green and rosy, with undertones of Lemon and a nuance of Bergamot.

Manuka

Manuka is a tree native to the East Cape of New Zealand where it has been utilized for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-allergenic, and anti-fungal capabilities for hundreds of years. It can be incredibly effective for combating bug bites and dermal allergic reactions.  It is good for influencing a healthy response to anger and stress.  It is primarily composed of Caryophyllene, Geraniol, Pinene, Humulene, Linalool, and Leptospermone.

Manuka Essential Oil’s Fragrance is sweetly sedating and camphoraceous.

Lavender

The earliest use of lavender dates back to Ancient Egypt where it was used in a mummification process.  The name Lavender comes from the Latin root of the word “lavare” which means to bathe.  It has been associated with bathing and relaxing due to its rich and relaxing aroma that promotes tranquility, relaxation, and stress relief.  It is utilized in Aromatherapy for mood regulation, insomnia, and anxiety disorders.  It is highly revered for it’s anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.  The relaxing aroma of Lavender is naturally produced by a cocktail of terpenes like Caryophyllene, Alpha-Pinene, Beta-Pinene, Limonene, Myrcene, Linalool, Terpinolene, Terpineol, Nerolidol, and Canfene.

Lavender’s fragrance has deeply rich and delicately woodsy lilac aroma with herbal nuances

 

Directions for Use

Bath & Shower: Add 5-10 drops to hot bath water, or sprinkle into a steamy shower before entering to promote deeper and fuller breathing.

Massage: 8-10 drops of essential oil per 1 ounce of carrier oil. Apply a small amount directly to desired areas, such as your muscles and joints. Work the oil gently into the skin until it is fully absorbed.

Inhalation: Inhale the aromatic vapors directly from the bottle, or place a few drops in a burner or diffuser to fill a room with its spicy and purifying ambience.

Home Brewed Perfumery: These Essential Oils can be used in your homemade products, such as candles, soaps, and body care products.
