Citronella has been used traditionally in Indonesia and China for ages for rashes, infections, and fevers.  Though widely touted for its’ capacity as an insect repellant, it offers a myriad of uses and proves to be an important harmonizer in aromatherapy today.  Citronella’s primary active terpenes are citronellol and geraniol.
